It is a lively hotel with a restaurant & bar offering surf lessons & rentals, pool, music, nice vibes & a fusion menu. We also have our own library, with dozens of books inviting you to read them, a slackline, skateboards and board games, creating a fun & creative space. The Rooms
We have two types of rooms in our guest house. Top floor, garden view, non air-conditioned rooms or a ground floor rooms with air-conditioning. All rooms have a safe, wardrobe, ensuite bathroom and a private seating area balcony. Our aim is to make your stay in Goa as comfortable and safe as possible, providing quality beds to restore the sleep from busy Goa, and all the facilities necessary to ensure a safe and clean stay. The Cottages
Cosy cottages in a glorious garden a few steps from the beach. A double bed room with all the things you need, a fan, plugs by the bed, high-speed wifi, warm water shower and a perfect location. The cottages are the perfect choice for accomodation in Goa due to the natural vibe,surrounded by a green garden, safe from the busy of Goa, but still close enough to everything you need to have the perfect stay in Goa.
The Guesthouse Story
The legendary hotel for wind surfers opened in 2002, since then it has been rebuilt and modified several times, but has always served as a center of attraction for people leading an active lifestyle. Even at a time when trans parties were the main trend of recreation in Goa and the main flow of tourists came here for this type of entertainment, the first and only rental of equipment for wind surfing, speed sale (a beach version of wind surfing) and kite buggy worked at the hotel in north Goa. However, the board of the owner of the hotel, Phil Tatley, has always been at the service of those who want to catch a wave and it is believed that this is the first surfboard to hit Arambol Beach.
But times were changing, endless trance parties lost their former popularity, tired the local population and were partially banned by the state authorities. The fashion for water sports also changed, kite surfing replaced wind surfing, completely new disciplines appeared, such as wake board, skim board and SUP (Stand Up Paddle), classical surfing became more and more widespread. And 11 years ago, the Surf Club Hotel got a second wind by teaming up with the first surf school in Goa, Surf Wala, which moved here from Ashvem Beach, which has become too expensive and crowded.
The unique location of the hotel, hidden in a palm grove just a hundred meters from one of the best surf spots in North Goa, makes it an ideal place for holding surf camps and learning to surf. 2 Years ago, both the Surf Club and Surf Wala became one under the same family, and is now an integated experience, that aims to provide all guests fun surfing experiences, quality food & cocktails and warm vibes that makes you wana come back year after after and stay with us in Arambol Goa.
